ONCE UPON A TIME...
On December 31st 1997, a teenage dream of opening a bar in Dar with a mixed crowd and a laid back atmosphere became real. Along with that bar, a small, unassuming guesthouse opened, 12 rooms in all.
Comfortable, relaxed and with a casual homeliness, QBar has maintained the same welcoming character for a decade. Today it is slightly bigger (there are 20 rooms and 2 bars) with 61 members of staff. Q-Bar is located on the Msasani Peninsula.
